Role Overview

We are seeking an Application Support Engineer with hands-on experience in Java technologies, databases, cloud platforms, and production support. The role involves monitoring applications, resolving incidents, supporting business users, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 application support for production environments.
Monitor application health and respond to incidents within defined SLAs.
Perform initial troubleshooting and issue analysis.
Execute SQL queries for data validation and issue investigation.
Analyze application and server logs to identify root causes of issues.
Validate APIs and support system integrations.
Monitor Azure-hosted services and applications.
Support Power BI report validation, dataset refreshes, gateways, and workspace activities.
Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
Handle service requests and user queries.
Participate in on-call production support activities.

Experience ,Education & Required Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3-4 years related experience
Good functional understanding of application support processes.
Production monitoring and incident handling.
Service request management.
Troubleshooting and issue triage.
Log analysis and debugging.
SQL query execution and data validation.
API testing and validation.
Cloud application monitoring.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment.
