Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced  SAP AVC (Advanced Variant Configuration) Functional Consultant  with 6 to 12 years of SAP experience and strong expertise in  SAP S/4

HANA Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing product configuration solutions that support complex manufacturing and sales processes.
The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver scalable and efficient configuration models within SAP S/4

HANA environments.

Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP AVC design, configuration, and implementation activities.
Gather and analyze business requirements for configurable products and manufacturing processes.
Design and maintain AVC models, characteristics, classes, constraints, dependencies, and configuration profiles.
Collaborate with business users to translate product configuration requirements into SAP AVC solutions.
Support end-to-end implementation projects, including workshops, fit-gap analysis, testing, training, and deployment.
Integrate SAP AVC with SD, PP, VC, LO-VC migration, MM, and Engineering processes.
Perform migration assessments and conversion activities from SAP LO-VC to SAP AVC.
Create functional specifications and support technical developments where applicable.
Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, and defect resolution.
Provide production support and troubleshoot configuration-related issues.
Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and industry standards.

Required Skills & Experience
Mandatory Skills
6 to 12 years of SAP consulting experience.
Minimum 4+ years of hands-on experience in  SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) .

Strong understanding of:
Characteristics and Classes
Configuration Profiles
Constraints and Dependencies
Knowledge Base Management
Variant Configuration Modeling
Product Configuration Processes

Experience with SAP S/4

HANA implementations.

Strong knowledge of integration with:
SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
SAP PP (Production Planning)
SAP MM (Materials Management)
Experience in requirement gathering, solution design, and testing.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience in LO-VC to AVC migration projects.
Knowledge of SAP CPQ integration.
Understanding of Engineering Change Management and Product Lifecycle processes.
SAP Activate methodology experience.
Exposure to SAP Fiori applications and S/4

HANA Cloud solutions.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
SAP certification in SAP S/4

HANA Variant Configuration or related modules is preferred.
