Role Description  The Data Science Intern will work full time on-site at the Meritshot office in Noida, contributing to data-driven projects that support the platform’s educational and career services. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and preprocessing datasets, performing exploratory data analysis, and supporting the development of predictive and analytical models under guidance from senior team members. The intern will assist in interpreting statistical results, generating insights, and visualizing data for internal stakeholders and program improvement.

This role also involves documenting methodologies, collaborating with mentors and cross-functional teams, and continuously learning new tools and techniques in data science. The position is designed to provide hands-on experience, structured mentorship, and exposure to real-world data challenges in a career-focused environment.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information and solve data-related problems (Analytical Skills).
Foundational knowledge of statistical concepts, probability, and hypothesis testing for data-driven decision-making (Statistics).
Understanding of core data science principles, including machine learning basics, model evaluation, and data pipelines (Data Science).
Ability to perform end-to-end data analytics tasks such as data wrangling, visualization, and reporting using relevant tools (Data Analytics).
Hands-on experience or academic exposure to data analysis techniques, including exploratory data analysis and trend identification (Data Analysis).
Familiarity with programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, and libraries like pandas, Num Py, or scikit-learn.
Exposure to data visualization tools or libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, or Tableau) is beneficial.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a relevant degree program (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field).
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, mentorship-driven environment.

Stipend : 20k to 25k in a month, After 6 months PPO 6 to 8 LPA based on performance
