The Hawk Tech is a digital marketing and web development agency based in Mohali, serving clients across India, the UK, the USA, and Canada. We're a small, hands-on team looking for a developer who wants to own real client projects — not just tickets.
Role Overview
We're looking for a full-time, in-house Web Developer to build and maintain Word Press, Shopify or any other CMS websites for our clients — from new site builds to ongoing fixes and improvements. This is a dedicated role: you'll be the primary developer handling day-to-day project work, working closely with the founder and the rest of the team.
Responsibilities
Build and customize Word Press websites using Elementor, PODS, and Woo Commerce
Handle bug fixes, plugin/theme updates, and site maintenance for existing client sites
Follow our internal Definition-of-Done checklist for every task before marking it complete
Communicate task progress clearly (daily updates) — no need to be asked twice
Troubleshoot issues independently and escalate only when genuinely stuck
Occasionally assist with basic on-page SEO implementation
Requirements
1–2 years of hands-on Word Press and Shopify development experience
Strong working knowledge of Elementor, PODS, and Woo Commerce
Comfortable with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Next.js, and basic PHP
Database handling
Migrations and server/DNS handling
Able to work independently once given a clear task scope
Good spoken and written English (for occasional client communication)
This must be your only full-time commitment — no parallel job or freelance conflicts
