Role Description  The Project Manager role at Surya Group of Hotels & Resorts is a full-time, on-site position based in Talcher. The Project Manager will oversee hospitality and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational standards. Daily responsibilities include planning project timelines, coordinating internal teams and external vendors, monitoring progress, resolving operational issues, and maintaining clear documentation.

The role involves regular site inspections to track construction or renovation quality, managing logistics for materials and equipment, and expediting approvals or deliveries to keep projects on schedule. The Project Manager will also prepare status reports, communicate risks and mitigation plans to leadership, and support the smooth handover of completed projects to operations teams.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, including Project Management and Expediting, to plan, prioritize, and drive project execution.
Candidates should possess expeditor-related and expediting coordination skills, such as Expeditor and Expediting, to follow up on orders, approvals, and vendor commitments.
Candidates should possess inspection and quality assurance skills, including Inspection, to verify compliance with specifications, safety standards, and brand guidelines.
Candidates should possess logistics and supply chain coordination skills, including Logistics Management, to manage material deliveries, inventory, and vendor relationships.
Candidates should have strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects.
Candidates should demonstrate effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners.
Candidates should be proficient in basic project documentation and reporting tools, such as MS Office and project tracking software.
A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field is preferred; relevant work experience in hospitality or construction projects is highly beneficial.
Ability to work on-site in Talcher, conduct regular field visits, and adapt to changing project requirements is required.
