Maintenance Head- EHV Plant

Location: Hālol

We are hiring senior leaders for our Greenfield EHV Manufacturing Facility. The role requires hands-on experience in 220–550 kV cables. Only candidates with relevant domain exposure are encouraged to apply.

Role Purpose
To build and lead a world-class maintenance function ensuring:
Maximum equipment uptime, Process stability, Safety and reliability and Readiness of critical assets in a high-risk EHV manufacturing environment. This is a plant backbone role, directly impacting productivity, quality, and safety.
Key Competencies & Responsibilities

Maintenance Strategy & Execution:  Owns preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance for: VCV / CCV lines, High-voltage testing equipment, Utilities and critical plant infrastructure and Ensures machines operate at rated speed and designed capability
Reliability & TPM:  Implements TPM, OEE improvement, root cause failure analysis (RCFA). Drives reduction in:
Unplanned downtime, Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) and Chronic equipment failures.
Greenfield Setup & Asset Readiness:  Leads:
Equipment installation & commissioning support, Maintenance SOP creation, Spare parts strategy and inventory norms and Interfaces with OEMs and equipment suppliers.
Safety & Compliance:  Ensures strict adherence to:
Electrical and mechanical safety norms, Statutory and plant safety standards and builds a zero-incident safety culture.
People & Capability Building:  Leads a team of maintenance engineers and technicians, develops skill matrices and training plans and builds ownership mindset for equipment health.
Data & Systems Orientation:  Uses CMMS, downtime analysis, and maintenance dashboards and Supports production with data-backed improvement actions.

Qualification & Skillset:

Education:

B.E./B.Tech – Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (mandatory)
Certifications in TPM / Reliability Engineering – desirable
15–22 years of experience in manufacturing plant maintenance, with:
Mandatory exposure to EHV cable manufacturing equipment
Strong experience on VCV / CCV lines, stranding, armouring, extrusion, and testing equipment
Prior experience setting up maintenance systems for greenfield plants preferred
