AGM - New Product Development

Qualifications and Experience Levels:

- DME / BE Mechanical Engineering with min 10-20+ years of experience preferably in SG and Grey Iron Foundry.

Key Responsibilities:

- Responsible for new product development
- Responsible for preparing FR inputs for enquires from customer in a cost effective manner
- Interact with design team for simulation study, process design and pattern layout for Furan, Hunter & Sinto lines
- Drive APQP process in all stages
- Design documents prepare and review with CFT
- Execute pattern manufacturing, Makino load planning, pattern mounting, methoding & sample pouring
- Getting sample casting approval from QAD for NDT, dimension & Lab as per customer specification
- Work with machine shop effective & timely machining for NPD parts
- Fool proofing system implementing, Continuous improvement, reduction of rejection, productivity increase.
- Handover the new parts to production in a smooth way
- Departmental objectives achieving
- APQP & PPAP Documentation preparation
- MRM-PPT for department objectives
- Effective safety practices and good housekeeping to achieve zero accident in department.
- Implementation of TPM, 5S and Safety practices in Production.
