Apple Edibles and Logistics Pvt Ltd. is in the process of food processing & manufacturing. It has setup its new factory at Khopoli near Mumbai.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pasta line operator to join our factory team in the FMCG sector. The successful candidate will be  responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring pasta production machinery (mixing, extrusion, shaping, drying and cooling), ensuring consistent product quality, minimum wastage, and adherence to food safety and factory safety standards .

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the production process
Monitoring equipment performance
Conducting quality control checks
Ensuring products meet quality standards
Troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on machinery, and adhering to safety regulations
Coordinating with other team members to ensure efficient production and timely completion of production targets.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and enhance operational efficiency.
Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team, including technicians and supervisors, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Prepare and manage the annual maintenance budget, monitor expenses, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions as needed.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment breakdowns, implement corrective and preventive actions, and track long-term maintenance planning.
Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, cost reduction, and energy efficiency.
Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and lead the maintenance response during plant accidents or emergencies.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous 5 years experience in a food production environment is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training is preferred
In-depth knowledge of food industry maintenance standards, regulatory compliance, and safety practices.
