With expertise in esterification, alkylation, distillation, and condensation processes, AFPL operates a manufacturing unit in Dombivli, Maharashtra, with a production capacity of approximately 22,000 TPA. AFPL plans to invest $50 million over the next two to three years for greenfield expansion in Saykha, Gujarat, focusing on green chemistry solutions.

This expansion aims to cater to the food, beverages, flavor, fragrances, API, and fuel blending sectors.

Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated EHS Officer/Executive/Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager for a full-time, on-site position located in Bharuch. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, conducting workplace safety inspections, implementing occupational health and safety measures, and promoting a culture of safety among employees. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, managing NEBOSH-related certifications, and supporting the development and execution of EHS programs at the workplace.
Qualifications
Understanding of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and workplace safety standards
Proficiency in health and safety management, including occupational health and compliance with industry regulations
Certification in NEBOSH or related qualifications
Strong problem-solving and risk assessment skills
Excellent communication and training skills to promote safety culture among employees
Prior experience in manufacturing or chemical industries is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related fields
