Sr. Engineer - Welding

Location: Kheda

Qualify new Procedure Qualification Record as per ASME Sec. IX, PD5500, EN 15614-1, I  standards, Client specification etc.
To prepare WPS, PQR & weld plan as per the job requirement & get the approval of the documents from client / TPI and make available to Manufacturing.
Welder / Welding Operator performance qualification, documentation & certification.
Welder training – by providing welding and material technical support and guidance.
Carry out weld defect analysis and prepare CAPA.
Carry out welding consumables estimation as per drawing & specification and raise indent for the same.
Prepare Technical Purchase Specification for all welding consumables.
Carry out incoming inspection of welding consumables as per code & TPS.
Responsible for Intergranular Corrosion Testing, Chemical Analysis, Microstructure examination of welding along with compilation of reports.
Carry out spot check of welding to verify compliance of Welding Procedure Specification.
Calibration of all welding related instruments, which are used in plant.
