Apple Edibles and Logistics Pvt Ltd. is in the process of food processing & manufacturing. It has setup its new factory at Khopoli near Mumbai. Apple Edibles and Logistics Pvt Ltd. is the owner of Euforia () and Firo ().
We are looking for an Stores In-charge to join our factory team! If you are a skilled professional with a passion for inventory management and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.
Role Description
The Stores In-Charge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the stores at the factory. The role ensures accurate inventory management, timely issue & receipt of materials, adherence to safety & hygiene standards and coordination with production and procurement teams to support the smooth running of the factory.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate stores, complete daily tasks and monitoring inventory/reorder levels.
Receive, inspect, and record raw materials, packaging, and finished goods as per company and certification standards.
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, perform regular inventory checks, and ensure timely stock replenishment.
Ensure proper storage conditions for food-grade materials and adherence to FIFO/FEFO methods.
Issue materials to production as per indents and ensure correct documentation.
Liaise with the purchase, quality, and production departments for material flow and stock planning.
Monitor expiry dates of perishable goods and coordinate the removal of obsolete/expired/defective items.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the stores in compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, and track delivery timelines.
Oversee and execute periodic stock audits and prepare relevant inventory and MIS reports.
Implement and follow store safety, security, and audit protocols.
Train, motivate, and monitor labour
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant field (preferred: Food Industry or Manufacturing background).
2–4 years' experience in stores/inventory management, preferably in a food factory or FMCG environment.
Familiarity with ERP, inventory, or warehouse management systems.
Good knowledge of stock control, safety, security, and hygiene in food handling.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and record-keeping.
Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems swiftly.
Good written and verbal communication skills (Hindi, Marathi, English).
