Job Responsibilities
.Independently handle press dies, injection molds, and HPDC dies in the CNC machining section.
.Coordinate with Planning, Design, CAM, and Fitting teams to prepare machining plans as per the die manufacturing schedule.
.Controlling die machining hours by monitoring and minimizing project-related delays.
.Analyzing non-productive activities within the shop floor and implementing countermeasures to reduce non-productive hours.
.Providing feedback to supervisors to optimize machining hour utilization and maintaining control over die costs.
.Prioritizing and promptly resolving customer feedback and requested modifications.
.Examining all quality related issues in machining process will be up to its root cause.
.Analyzing machine accuracy results and developing improvement plans in coordination with the maintenance team.
.Preparing and analyzing machine utilization reports to identify improvement opportunities
.Monitoring machine health and ensuring timely preventive maintenance and calibration.
.Preparing and managing shop related reports and check sheets.
.Monitor die parts quality.
.Analyze target vs. actual machining hours and work towards reducing machining time.
.Monitor and Improve machining efficiency.

Technical / Functional:
.Strong drawing reading skills and knowledge of fits & tolerances.
.Knowledge of FANUC control systems.
.Knowledge of CNC machining operations.
.Ability to independently handle machining projects.
.Knowledge of various cutting tools and clamping systems.
.Knowledge of press dies, die casting dies, and injection mold manufacturing.
.Ability to independently prepare die machining process planning sheets.
.Knowledge of different die materials.
.Ability to make independent decisions in CNC machining operations.
.Knowledge of CAM/CAD software such as UG NX, Powermill, and Tebis will be an added advantage.
.Having great skill of Microsoft tools i.e., excel, word, outlook, etc.
