HPDC Line Incharge Casting

Job Role
1. Handling shift operations in HPDC area. (Team size - 50).
2. Troubleshooting of highly automated High Pressure Die Casting Machines.
3. Achieve shift target wrt Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Suggestions.
4. Training of new Supervisors / Operators
5. Communicate and take feedback wrt SQDCS. Solve operator concerns.
6. Maintain Floor Control, 1S /2S in shop.
7. To work with different stake holders like customers, maintenance, EMU teams to achieve desired results

Educational

Qualification:

Diploma/Graduation (With Specialization):
Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering

Job Responsibilities 1. Understanding and implementing shift planning.
2. Achieve shift output targets wrt Rejection %, OEE, Suggestions.
3. Monitor and maintain attendance %.
4. Motivate team to implement kaizens.
5. Train new supervisors and operators as per WIS.
6. Ensure shift safety adherence wrt PPE, KYT. Reporting near misses.
7. Handling of manpower (Supervisors and operators). Resolve or raise concerns timely.
8. Shop floor control and 1S /2S adherence.
9. Coordinate with maintenance, PE, EMU, Civil for different shop issues.
10. Doing or give input for effective 5 Why analysis, PDCA.
11. Plan for multiskilling and implementation

Competencies / Skills Functional/Technical:
. Sound knowledge ofHigh pressure die casting process. (Maker Ube/ Toshiba)
.Robot touchup, Trouble shooting breakdowns, Identify die leakages.
. Hands on experience in effectively handling shift operations.
. Work experience in 4W Die Casting products.
. Expertise in Casting Process and Rejection Control.
. Ability to do 5 Why, PDCA, 7 QC Tools is mandatory
. Proficiency in MS Excel Advanced & MS Power Point
