Production Shift Incharge

Location: Dahej

Job description   RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and handover the shift positions of block/plant operations.
Shift man power planning aligning with priorities.
Ensure each section operator reliving on floor with equipment & log book/BMR.
To ensure the production planning schedules Vs current batches status.
Monitor the shift process operations in line with safety precautions/practices with zero incident and zero deviation.
To follow the equipment preventive maintenance schedules co-coordinating maintenance team.
To ensure the raw material availability for planned batches.
Raw materials indenting and receiving status from ware house.
To monitor the critical process parameters of batches and give necessary instructions Section operator & DCS operator.
Attend break down acclivities without losing time and coordinate with all concerned to correct the situation on priority.
To ensure that the BMRs of all operators getting filled on the basis of online activities as per SOP.
Follow the safety work permit systems in work place with adequate PPEs.
To give the shift report to product in-charge/Block in-charge & detailed relieving to the next shift in-charge with appropriate observation / instructions.
Maintain the good housekeeping of the work place involving section operators.
Register near misses and unsafe conditions of work place and address the cause to avoid it permanently, if required in consultation with superiors.
Maintaining the manufacturing facility with proper identification & tags.
Ensure Root cause analysis of product quality deviation involved in process.
Provide the training on safety , quality systems and process to shop floor employees.
Constantly strive & initiate to implement new methods / techniques which would lead to safety aspect, cost savings within the Production system.
