Position: Unit Head Operations / Plant In- Charge
Location: Tumkūr

Key Responsibilities :
1. Plant Operations & Leadership
Oversee entire plant operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to organizational goals.
Lead and manage production, maintenance, and store teams with effective communication and people management skills, including contract labor.
2. Production & Planning
Drive production planning and execution in alignment with sales requirements.
Coordinate with internal departments and the sales team for timely order deliveries.
3. Maintenance & Equipment
Ensure proper functioning of plant machinery through preventive and breakdown maintenance.
Monitor and reduce downtime and ensure optimum use of machinery and inventories.
4. Inventory & Procurement
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods.
Liaise with the Purchase Department for timely procurement of raw materials.
5. Quality & Efficiency
Ensure that production meets operational standards, product quality specifications, and the company's quality assurance policies.
Optimize production capacity, improve efficiency, and reduce operational costs.
6. Compliance & Safety
Develop and promote a strong safety culture within the plant.
Ensure all safety regulations and statutory compliance requirements are met.
Liaise with government authorities as needed.
7. Process Improvement & Reporting
Lead continuous improvement initiatives and plant expansion projects.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of MIS reports and other periodic returns.
Maintain high levels of hygiene and housekeeping across the factory.
8. Training & Supervision
Evaluate team performance, maintain discipline, and identify training needs.
Support staff development and cross-functional collaboration.
9. Audits & Standards
Ensure readiness and compliance for GMP audits and implement 5S practices.
10. Additional Responsibilities
Take ownership of additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
