AB InBev India is looking to hire Assistant Manager - HMO for its Supply team based out of Maksi , Madhya Pradesh
Role Purpose
To support delivery of top and bottom-line growth by ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality co-packer operations. The role focuses on execution excellence across production, quality, and compliance while working closely with internal teams and co-packers to enable reliable and cost-effective manufacturing.
Key Accountabilities
1. Co-Packer Operations & Coordination
Support day-to-day coordination with co-packers to ensure smooth production operations
Track key performance metrics (complaints per million, quality index, micro index, etc.) and highlight deviations
Participate in periodic performance reviews and follow up on action plans
Ensure co-packers adhere to defined company standards, policies, and operating procedures
2. Production Planning & Execution
Execute production plans aligned with monthly schedules shared by the Planning team
Monitor output vs. plan and escalate risks to delivery timelines
Ensure adherence to packaging processes, SOPs, and defined process parameters (ZITECH/ABI)
Support demand fulfilment while maintaining quality and compliance standards
3. Quality Assurance & Food Safety
Ensure incoming quality checks for raw materials (RM) and packaging materials (PM) are conducted
Support batch-wise quality validation and release processes
Monitor adherence to food safety and quality requirements at co-packer facilities
Assist in managing product holds, complaint investigations, and CAPA tracking in the Quality Management System
Escalate quality or food safety concerns in a timely manner
4. Inventory & Cost Management
Support planning and availability of production resources (RM/PM/spares)
Track inventory levels and assist in stock reconciliation activities
Ensure proper documentation and handling of inventory and assets
Identify and flag cost-saving or efficiency improvement opportunities
5. Maintenance & Reliability Support
Track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure adherence
Coordinate with co-packers for timely repair and upkeep of equipment
Monitor availability of critical spares to avoid production disruptions
6. Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to statutory, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements
Support implementation of health and safety practices across co-packer sites
Monitor and report any non-compliance issues
7. Continuous Improvement
Participate in audits and identify process improvement opportunities
Support implementation of efficiency, quality, and cost improvement initiatives
Contribute to training and capability-building programs for co-packers
8. Reporting & Analytics
Prepare and share daily/weekly production and quality reports
Track deviations from SOPs and ensure closure of corrective actions
Ensure timely reporting and escalation of operational issues
Key Stakeholders
Internal: Supply Planning, Procurement, Quality, Logistics, Finance
External: Co-packers, vendors
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree (Engineering preferred)
3–5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, co-packer/third-party operations, or supply chain
Technical Skills
Basic understanding of manufacturing and packaging operations
Familiarity with quality systems, food safety standards, and compliance requirements
Exposure to planning, production coordination, or quality processes
