About the Role
Tynor Orthotics Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Knitting Manager to lead our knitting operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in knitting technologies, production management, quality systems, process improvement, and team leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, optimal machine utilization, cost control, and continuous improvement across knitting operations.

Key Responsibilities
Technical & Production Management
Manage and oversee knitting production operations to achieve production targets.
Ensure efficient utilization of Circular and Flat Knitting Machines.
Possess in-depth knowledge of various knitting structures, yarns, and knit developments.
Monitor machine performance, productivity, and production efficiency.
Drive process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality Management
Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the knitting process.
Identify and resolve quality issues related to knitting operations.
Implement process controls to reduce defects and improve product consistency.
Capacity & Cost Management
Plan and manage knitting capacity to meet business requirements.
Analyze production data and machine efficiencies for informed decision-making.
Drive cost reduction initiatives through process improvements and waste minimization.
Monitor production KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
Product Development & Technology
Lead knit development activities for new products.
Stay updated with the latest knitting technologies, machinery, and industry trends.
Manage knitting software, computerized design systems, and related technologies.
People Management
Lead, mentor, and develop both blue-collar and white-collar teams.
Identify manpower requirements and participate in recruitment and selection.
Drive skill development, training, and performance management initiatives.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
Lean & Continuous Improvement
Implement Lean Manufacturing principles within knitting operations.
Drive productivity enhancement, waste reduction, and operational excellence initiatives.
Support automation and digital transformation projects where applicable.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Textile Engineering, Knitting Technology, Textile Technology, or related field.
8–15 years of experience in knitting operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Circular and Flat Knitting Machines.
Experience in knit development, production planning, quality management, and capacity planning.
Working knowledge of knitting software and computerized knitting systems.
Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
