Role Description The Plant Head is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Dadra and Nagar Haveli, India. This role oversees end-to-end plant operations, including production planning, resource allocation, and adherence to safety and compliance standards. The Plant Head monitors daily production activities, coordinates with cross-functional teams, and ensures output meets quality, cost, and delivery targets. Responsibilities include optimizing manufacturing processes, maintaining equipment efficiency, managing budgets, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The role also involves mentoring plant staff, implementing best practices, and supporting strategic decisions aligned with company objectives.
Qualifications
Strong plant operations and production management skills, with experience overseeing end-to-end manufacturing activities.
Proficiency in production planning and scheduling to meet delivery timelines and optimize capacity utilization.
Hands-on experience in quality control, with the ability to implement and monitor quality systems and standards.
Budgeting and cost-control skills to manage plant expenses and improve operational efficiency.
Prior experience in plastics, packaging, or related manufacturing industries is highly beneficial.
Ability to lead and develop diverse teams, with strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Familiarity with safety, regulatory, and environmental compliance requirements in industrial settings.
Graduate degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
