We are looking for an experienced Senior Rebar Detailer / Team Lead to lead the rebar detailing team within our steel/rebar fabrication facility. The role will be responsible for preparing and checking accurate rebar shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), coordinating with production teams, and ensuring drawings are prepared in line with project requirements and fabrication capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of Rebar Detailers.
Prepare, review, and check rebar shop drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and fabrication drawings.
Ensure accuracy of reinforcement details, bar marks, dimensions, laps, couplers, and constructability.
Review structural and architectural drawings and identify discrepancies or missing information.
Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Production, and Project teams to resolve technical issues.
Ensure all detailing work complies with approved drawings, project specifications, and relevant standards.
Plan and monitor team workload, drawing submissions, and project deadlines.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior and intermediate detailers.
Review drawing revisions and maintain proper document control.
Coordinate with consultants, engineers, clients, and site teams when required.
Ensure drawings and BBS are issued accurately and on schedule to support production and site activities.
Conduct quality checks before final submission.
Maintain records of drawings, revisions, and technical queries.

Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
8+ years of experience in rebar detailing, preferably within construction, rebar fabrication, or steel manufacturing.
Proven experience as a Senior Rebar Detailer, Rebar Checker, or Team Lead.
Strong knowledge of reinforcement detailing, BBS, rebar shop drawings, and fabrication requirements.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and rebar detailing software such as Tekla Structures.
Good understanding of structural drawings, reinforcement standards, and construction practices.
Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
Willingness to  relocate to Dubai, UAE  and work in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
