Job Description
Enfinity Global is looking for a Junior Power Markets Analyst with more than 1 - 3 years of experience who will be responsible for conducting detailed US market research & analysis, performing production cost modelling, utilizing analytical skills to provide insights to clients, and communicating those insights effectively. The candidate should have knowledge of power markets with a special focus on solar and battery aspects.

Additionally, the candidate will be involved in day-to-day market research. This opportunity has a strong modelling, research and analysis component, and candidates will be managing the same in cooperation with other members of the teams based in India and the US.

Our final candidate will require strong negotiation, research capabilities, verbal and written communication skills, a high level of proactivity, and be comfortable working in a very dynamic environment and with highly expansive growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities
Energy Markets Modelling :
Build and maintain models to simulate U.S. power market operations, focusing on solar and battery technologies
Market Research :
Conduct detailed research on U.S. energy markets, regulatory changes, and emerging trends
Report Writing :
Prepare clear and insightful reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Data Analysis :
Analyze large datasets using tools like Python, Excel, or Power BI to extract actionable insights
Due Diligence :
Support technical and commercial evaluations for new projects and acquisitions
Cross-Functional Collaboration :
Work closely with teams in India and the U.S. to align research and analysis efforts
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement :
Present findings effectively and engage with internal teams and external partners

Requirements

Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in the energy sector
Ability to set, manage, and track multiple priorities and related details
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Advanced user of Microsoft Package (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Fluent in English (professional vocabulary is a must)
Creative thinker, trying to find new ways of doing things
Hands-on mentality, and focus on getting things done
Taking ownership and wanting to get things right
Knowledge in PROMOD or PLEXOS or any relevant production cost modeling software is value added
