Trainee Research Associate

Location: Mohali

Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Genetics, Genetic Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biological Sciences, or Biotechnology.
0-1 yr experienced with interest in scientific research with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
General proficiency in MS Office and the ability to quickly learn new software tools.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Role:
Analyse biological patents with proposed guidelines.
Identify and describe nucleic acid and protein sequences in a structured manner from the patent.
Conduct thorough reading and analysis of upto 200 pages patent, identifying key scientific effects, assay conditions, biological materials used, targets studied, and subsequent experimental results.
Transfer data accurately into a specified tool for a reputed database.
Summarize claims, novelties, and experiments described in patents without grammatical or conceptual errors.
Consistently meet weekly production volume and quality targets.
Take initiative to raise, discuss, and resolve subject matter and production issues.
