Essential Qualifications
M.Sc. in Botany, Minimum 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Knowledge of plant Taxonomy, GIS Mapping, GPS Mapping, biodiversity assessment, field surveys, and data analysis, MS Office, GIS/Remote Sensing (desirable).
Field experience in Punjab will be preferred.
Fellowship / Remuneration
Salary:
1. Rs. 35,000/- as applicable to the candidates who have qualified NET conducted by UGC-CSIR
2. Rs. 25,000/- without NET or GATE.
Duration of Engagement
Initially for one year, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
Age Limit
Maximum 35 years (relaxation as per Government rules).
Nature of Work
- Extensive Field surveys data collection and biodiversity documentation
- Data collection, analysis, and report preparation
- Coordination with institutions and local bodies
Mode of Selection
Walk-in by interview ( offline on 25th June, 2026 ).
