Barista

At The Fresh Factory, the barista goes well beyond coffee.
Espresso, manual brews, matcha, teas, fresh beverages, seasonal drinks and everything else that comes out of our beverage program — our Baristas own the experience.
We’re looking for someone who understands the craft behind a good drink and the hospitality behind serving one.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare espresso-based coffees and manual brews

• Prepare matcha, teas and other non-coffee beverages

• Execute fresh and seasonal beverages as per recipes and standards

• Understand ingredients, flavour combinations and preparation techniques

• Maintain consistency in taste, temperature, presentation and portioning

• Talk to guests and help them choose the right beverage

• Maintain equipment and follow opening and closing routines

What we’re looking for:

• Previous Barista or beverage experience preferred

• Good understanding of espresso extraction and milk texturing

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Curious, disciplined and genuinely interested in hospitality
