As we expand our industrial cleaning machine business, we are looking for an experienced  Capital Equipment Sales professional to develop the Coimbatore market .

ABOUT

THE ROLE
We are looking for an Industrial Sales Engineer / Capital Equipment Sales professional who has  hands-on experience selling industrial machinery, capital equipment or engineered industrial systems  to manufacturing companies. This is a  field-intensive B2B sales role focused on developing industrial customers across Coimbatore and surrounding manufacturing clusters. The ideal candidate should already understand the industrial equipment sales cycle — from prospecting and identifying applications to technical discussions, demonstrations, trials, quotations, negotiations and closing capital equipment orders.

You will work with  OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers and manufacturing plants , engaging with Production, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchase, Projects and senior management teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Capital Equipment Sales
■      Drive sales of  industrial cleaning machines  and associated solutions.
■      Identify new machine and equipment requirements within prospective and existing manufacturing accounts.
■      Develop opportunities from initial enquiry through technical evaluation, demonstration/trial, quotation, negotiation and order closure.
■      Achieve agreed  sales targets  for capital equipment.
■      Develop new accounts and expand business within existing customers.
Coimbatore Market Development
■      Develop the industrial customer base across  Coimbatore and surrounding manufacturing clusters .
■      Identify target industries, plants, applications and upcoming equipment requirements.
■      Build relationships with OEMs, Tier-1/Tier-2 suppliers and manufacturing companies.
■      Conduct regular customer visits and develop strong plant-level relationships.
■      Identify opportunities arising from new projects, plant expansions, production-line additions and equipment replacement.
Technical & Solution Selling
■      Understand manufacturing processes, component-cleaning requirements and customer challenges.
■      Identify applications where industrial cleaning, degreasing and surface-treatment equipment can provide value.
■      Coordinate machine demonstrations, trials and application evaluations with internal technical teams.
■      Present technical and commercial solutions based on customer requirements.
■      Communicate equipment benefits, application suitability, productivity improvement,  cost justification and ROI .
Sales Cycle Management
■      Qualify opportunities based on application, decision process, budget, timeline and competition.
■      Prepare and follow up on quotations and commercial proposals.
■      Handle customer objections and support negotiations.
■      Maintain accurate  CRM, pipeline and sales forecast  information.
Account Development
■      Identify opportunities for additional machines, chemicals, services and applications.
