Area Sales Manager – FMCG

Location: Vasanthanagar

This position is part of our business expansion and is intended to  strengthen the existing sales team . We are looking for additional resources to support the increased business requirements.

Since the role has a strong focus on  driving secondary sales, creating consumer demand through product availability and strengthening retail-level execution.  Preferred from companies across the  ice cream, beverages, confectionery, and chocolate sectors .

Ideal Candidate Profile
Secondary sales:  Strong track record of driving distributor-to-retailer movement and consumer offtake, rather than focusing only on primary billing.

Distribution expansion:  Experience in numeric/weighted distribution, outlet expansion, beat productivity, and effective market coverage.

Retail execution:  Strong capability in Assets/ freezer placement, point-of-sale visibility, merchandising, and ensuring product availability at the retail level.

Channel management:  Exposure to  General Trade, Modern Trade, Ho Re Ca , and Quick Commerce  channels.

SFA/DMS:  Hands-on experience with Sales Force Automation and Distributor Management Systems for tracking sales, distribution, market coverage, and execution compliance.

Team & distributor management:  Ability to manage distributors, field teams, and market execution while delivering agreed sales and distribution targets.
