Hostel Warden

Location: Prakāshamnagar

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the Students all round well-being (Physical Emotional health) is taken care of thus enabling them to give their best to the academic extra - curricular activities in the institute. At the same time the warden has to ensure that the students follow all the rules regulations as outlined in the Student code of conduct.

The Warden is the first point of contact for the students for all non-academic activities / activities outside of the class-room. Roles Responsibilities

Handling complete hostel responsibilities ensure smooth functioning of Hostel activities.
Handling overall administration of Hostel, communicating with parents/ guardians of student from time to time.
Monitoring hostel, student leave record, in out movements.
Monitor and ensure proper cleaning of the hostel premises as well as the rooms of the students are done by housekeeping staffs.
Keep a track of all inventories available within the hostel premises.
Ensuring discipline and overall upkeep.
Resolving issues and complaints related to the infrastructure like IT / Power / Water / AC / Carpentry/ Plumbing etc
Ability to listen to and establish a rapport with students.
Enforce discipline among the students.
Available for 'on call-duty' whenever required, which provides emergency cover in the evenings and weekends.
Providing relevant information about the students whenever it is required.
Offering appropriate first aid support when needed.
Responsibility for ensuring that no ragging, drugs or alcohol takes place across the Campus hostels as we have ZERO TOLERANCE policy.
