Pilot; MMU Driver

Position: Pilot (MMU Driver)
Location: Prakāshamnagar

The MMU Driver is responsible for driving the Mobile Medical Unit safely to planned villages as per route maps and ensuring proper maintenance of the vehicle. The role focuses on safe transportation of medical staff and equipment, routine vehicle upkeep, and support during mobile OPDs and health camps.

Key Responsibilities:

Vehicle Operation and Safety
Drive the Mobile Medical Unit to planned villages according to approved route maps.
Ensure safe operation of the vehicle with special care for installed medical equipment.
Practice defensive driving and adhere to all road safety norms.
Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance
Conduct daily pre-trip inspections including brakes, electrical system, lubrication, cooling system, and tyres.
Ensure periodic servicing of the vehicle is completed and reported on time.
Perform minor maintenance tasks when required and report major issues promptly.
Fuel and Log Management
Ensure timely fueling of the vehicle and maintain accurate fuel purchase records.
Maintain the vehicle logbook with details of trips, mileage, and servicing.
Cleanliness and Readiness
Keep the Mobile Ambulance clean inside and outside at all times.
Remain prepared for emergencies during duty hours.
Program Support
Assist the coordinator, health staff, and medical officers during mobile OPDs, routine health camps, or emergencies.
Act as a positive role model while interacting with medical staff and patients.
Additional Responsibilities
Undertake any other duties assigned by the coordinating office or management from time to time.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualification:

10th / 12th / Graduation.
Valid Heavy Vehicle Commercial Driving License (Mandatory).
Experience and Requirements:
2–5 years of driving experience.
Prior experience in driving ambulances or heavy vehicles.
Good knowledge of local routes and villages.
