We are looking to grow our team by adding a new Automation Project & Account Manager. This is a full-time salary position that is responsible for project and account management throughout the design and build process of custom automation systems. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining customer service and sales support.
Responsibilities- Customer communications as appropriate (quoting jobs, project details, project management, etc.)
- All new job order set ups, concepting jobs, and order entry
- New project kickoffs with customer and internal groups
- Communications with Automation Manager, ME Manager, and CE Manager
- Customer visits
- Prepare follow up quotes, quote revisions, and adder quotes on current projects
- Assembly and controls scheduling: manpower and priorities (floor level, occasionally)
- Coordinate scheduling with Automation Manager for installs and service
- Shipping and receiving communications and scheduling
- Progressive billings on current projects
- Marketing, lead generation, and outside representative communications
- Previous knowledge/experience with automation and equipment
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, controls systems, and their applications is required. Hands-on production and manufacturing experience is a plus.
- CAD experience required, AutoCAD or Solid Works preferred
- Maintain professional relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Minimal travel inside the US, with little to no overnight or weekend travel required
