As Accounting Manager on the Accounting team, you will be managing key accounting and investor reporting processes with accuracy, timeliness, and dependable follow-through. A primary responsibility will be leading the annual production and distribution of investor tax-reporting packages, as well as coordinating the people, information, deadlines, and reviews needed for successful delivery. Throughout the year, this role will also support accounting operations, reconciliations, close activities, and process improvements.

The ideal candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals, excellent project-management skills, and the ability to coordinate complex workflows across internal teams and external service providers.

Location: 100% Remote.

Pay Range: $100k-120k (+ 15% target bonus)

• Lead the annual production and distribution of nearly 5000+ Delaware statutory trust (DST) grantor tax-reporting packages, coordinating the process from initial data preparation through final review and delivery.
• Establish and manage project plans, timelines, responsibilities, and review checkpoints to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Coordinate with Accounting, Investor Relations, other internal teams, and external service providers to gather information, manage dependencies, resolve issues, and keep deliverables on track.
• Review and reconcile underlying property and investor data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with internal records before reporting packages are finalized.
• Coordinate internal reviews and required approvals, track completion and distribution, and manage corrections or outstanding items.
• Improve the scalability, accuracy, and efficiency of annual reporting through process documentation, standardized procedures, and appropriate technology.

• Coordinate information gathering and reporting workflows supporting the Firm’s DST, REIT, operating partnership, and preferred equity investments.
• Organize and provide trial balances, supporting schedules, work papers, and other information needed by external tax advisors to prepare returns and investor reporting.
• Manage the collection, organization, and maintenance of investor depreciation schedules and other supporting information associated with rollover transactions.
• Coordinate investor questionnaires and related communications, including data collection, follow-up, issue resolution, and delivery of complete information to external advisors.
• Coordinate the preparation and delivery of investor reporting, including Form 1099 information, K-1 data, and custodian files, working with external advisors and internal reviewers.
• Coordinate responses to investor requests for cost basis and valuation statements and work with appropriate internal resources or external advisors to address tax-related questions.
• Maintain reporting calendars and track outstanding information, review milestones, and filing or delivery deadlines.

• Oversee assigned reconciliations and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, including review of supporting schedules and resolution of discrepancies.
