AP​/AR Specalist

Location: Rochester, IN
Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually

Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to support the accounting operations of a well-established organization. This position will focus primarily on accounts payable, including vendor invoice processing, payment preparation, account reconciliations, and vendor maintenance within Oracle Net Suite.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Net Suite, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of AP/AR processes. This individual will work closely with the Accounting Manager and finance team to ensure accurate financial records, timely payments, and efficient daily accounting operations.

• Process and review vendor invoices, including purchase order (PO) and non-PO invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
• Support weekly payment runs by verifying invoice approvals and maintaining supporting documentation.
• Maintain vendor records, including W-9 forms, ACH information, banking details, and vendor setup within Net Suite.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, review aging reports, and resolve discrepancies.
• Process credit card transactions and assist with expense reporting.

• Assist with customer payment postings, cash applications, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and support follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Provide backup support for customer invoicing and customer master data maintenance.
• Prepare AP/AR aging reports and transaction summaries.

• Assist with month‑end close, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and overall efficiency.
• Support additional accounting projects and responsibilities as assigned.

• High school diploma required;
  Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience using Oracle Net Suite required.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or general accounting.
• Understanding of invoice processing, vendor payments, account reconciliations, and general ledger functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal teams.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.
