Controller / Accounting Manager
Bremen, IN (100% onsite)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the month-end close process, including financial statement review, accruals, expense analysis, budget-to-actual comparisons, and variance investigation.
- Manage daily cash activity by monitoring bank accounts, maintaining cash reports, tracking cash flow, and ensuring visibility into current financial position.
- Review inventory activity and key financial metrics, identifying significant fluctuations and providing insights to leadership.
- Support Accounts Payable and vendor management by assisting with payment processes, resolving vendor issues, reviewing payment terms, and improving cash management practices.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and timely month-end reporting.
- Develop weekly flash reports and provide financial analysis to leadership, helping drive business decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5+ years of accounting, finance, or controller-level experience
- Strong background in month-end close, cash management, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel and ERP system experience required
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
