Job Description
The Sara Bea Accessibility Services Assistant is a key member of the Sara Bea Accessibility Services team in the Center for Student Support and Care. This position will support the daily operations of the Testing Center and the Access Consultants.
Responsibilities- Assist with the administration of the daily operations of the Testing Center for students with accommodations ensuring the integrity and professionalism of the testing environment.
- Review accommodation requests to ensure necessary documentation is provided; correspond with students to obtain additional documentation if necessary.
- Provide supervision of undergraduate and graduate student employees including testing center student support, student note takers, aids, and sighted guides.
- Additional responsibilities include maintaining confidentiality, maintaining accurate records and data tracking, corresponding with faculty regarding exam logistics, and helping ensure all accommodations are implemented appropriately.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently, while fostering a calm and supportive environment that reflects the mission of the Center for Student Support & Care.
The Sara Bea Accessibility Services Assistant is a temporary, on‑call position, 20‑25 hours a week. Schedule will include afternoons and early evenings, with nights as needed during high volume times such as midterms and finals.
Qualifications- Bachelor's Required;
Masters Preferred. - Rate of pay: $22.00 - $28.00/hour
