We are looking for a Staffing Coordinator who will manage and maintain staff schedules for our clinical team. This role is vital to ensuring proper coverage and smooth daily operations in our nursing department. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, organized, and comfortable in a fast‑paced healthcare setting.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- CNA or QMA (required)
- At least 1 year of experience in long‑term care or scheduling
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Create and maintain staff schedules (minimum 4 weeks in advance)
- Coordinate daily coverage to meet resident care needs
- Manage PTO, holidays, and last‑minute call‑offs
- Communicate schedule changes clearly to staff
- Track time worked, attendance, and ensure payroll accuracy
- Support onboarding and orientation of new staff
- Maintain accurate records and staffing documentation
- Be available for after‑hours calls (facility phone provided)
