Position: Sales & Marketing Commercial Officer (PwD)
Location: Coal City

We are recruiting for a 'Sales & Marketing Commercial Officer' on behalf of our partner. The role focuses on extending backend support to the sales function, ensuring timely delivery of material to customers, effective warehouse operations, and implementation of all laid‑down systems and procedures.

Business Responsibility Areas
  • Review Order Cycle Time (OCT) for delivery of material to customers based on orders received at the warehouse and as per defined benchmarks.
  • Review with customers and sales team regularly to identify and resolve material service issues.
  • Support other divisions such as Home Improvement in terms of material storage and delivery.
Warehouse Management
  • Monitor and improve the productivity of manpower deployed at the warehouse.
  • Conduct stock verification as per defined frequency and take measures to control stock variances.
  • Maintain documents and legal agreements related to warehouse operations.
  • Implement and ensure usage of Transport Management System to improve customer service parameters and rationalise route plans.
Warehouse and Office Infrastructure
  • Assess infrastructure requirements at the warehouse and sales offices and propose CAPEX projects.
  • Execute CAPEX projects as per the project implementation schedule.
Overheads
  • Assist and provide inputs to the regional commercial team on proposals for annual overheads budget.
  • Monitor and ensure freight cost per ton (CPT) and other overheads remain within budgeted limits.
Vendor Payments
  • Process vendor payments as per defined payment terms.
  • Monitor and ensure no pending payments, open goods receipts or open advances at each vendor level.
  • Coordinate with vendors for outstanding closure and quarterly balance confirmation within defined timelines.
Statutory Compliances and Audits
  • Track and ensure timely renewal of statutory licences for warehouse and office operations.
  • Update compliances in statutory portals as per due dates.
  • Initiate corrective and preventive actions for identified statutory non‑compliances.
  • Participate and support audits such as ISO, 5S, and internal audits.
Safety
  • Monitor safety parameters and conduct safety audits to provide a safe working environment at warehouses and office premises.
Reports
  • Prepare and circulate monthly reports on various parameters in a timely manner.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Percentage of Order Cycle Time (OCT)
  • Freight Cost Per Ton
  • Execution of CAPEX projects within timelines
  • Stock variance within defined limits
  • Vendor bill settlement within defined timelines
  • Statutory and safety compliances
  • CFA manpower productivity
Essential Qualifications
  • Graduate degree (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BMS) with minimum 50% marks throughout education.
  • Full‑time graduation without backlogs.
  • 1–2 years experience in commercial and warehouse management.

Applicants with MBA or an engineering background (B.Tech/B.E./Diploma/B.Pharma) will not be considered.

    Indirect – CFA, housekeeping and security manpower at warehouse.

    Based on scope.
  • Corporate coverage:
    Retail sales.
