PRIMARY

PURPOSE:

To coordinate DEA Warehouse activities and provide input on the receipt, processing, storage, and shipment of all controlled substance materials, including supplies related to the Controlled Substance Area of the warehouse. Will have regular contact with the internal team and external customers in support of Controlled Substance Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate and direct daily activities in the Controlled Substance Area, including all receiving, processing, and storage tasks.
  • Complete Controlled Substance Area paperwork such as 222 Forms, ATF Forms, Logs, Discrepancy Reports, and related documentation.
  • Interact with internal and external parties to complete required tasks.
  • Perform data entry tasks as needed.
  • Assist with inventory and cycle counts as required.
  • Support other Controlled Substance Area operations and housekeeping.
  • ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Support the organization's quality programs.
  • Travel as required.
  • Qualifications Education & Licensing

    High School diploma or GED required.

    Experience

    One (1) year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Skills & Knowledge
    • Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, hand carts, and pallet jacks.
    • Knowledge of computer software applications, including CMS and proprietary systems.
    • Understanding of safety and security procedures.
    • Excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and meet performance standards.
    Work Environment

    Includes physical activities such as lifting over 80 pounds, working in extreme environmental conditions, and tolerating temperature variations.
