Location: Indianapolis

Credit & Collections Specialist Senior

This role will be responsible for complex collection activities related to past due health insurance premiums and/or past due health insurance claims.

Base pay range

$20.05/hr – $31.45/hr

Location

Requires associates to be in‑office 1–2 days per week. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Follows established guidelines and contacts group for the purpose of collecting past‑due insurance premiums and/or past‑due health insurance claims.
  • Researches validity of past‑due and/or disputed debt.
  • Generates demand letters.
  • Prepares reports reflecting status of credit and collection activities for management review.
Minimum Requirements

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of commercial debt collection experience; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences
  • Healthcare/claims experience preferred.
