After Care Support Staff

After Care (3:00 p.m.

- 5:30 p.m.) Monday through Friday

Duties include, but are not limited to, the Aftercare program:

• Supervise students in the After Care Program at all times
• Maintain assigned schedule
• Fill-in (cover shifts) for absent staff members as needed
• Work directly with children ages Preschool through Grade 5
• Administer snacks
• Help students complete homework
• Track attendance
• Problem solve and report issues to supervisor
• Communicate changes/updates with parents, and other stakeholders
• Attend staff meetings as needed throughout the school year
• Be familiar with state regulations for supervision
• Be familiar with school and staff policies for Saint Joseph School and Preschool

• Must have a high school or general education diploma
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Preferred to hold or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications
