This position requires you to work in an office environment, full-time. No hybrid or remote work available.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the steel team, engineering team, clients, and other departments to develop a clear understanding of the required specifications and overall design.
- Review and study structural and architectural drawings of the project and produce fabrication and erection drawings using SDS, Tekla, or other software.
- Utilize your knowledge of loads and how they transfer throughout a structure.
- Familiarity with Heavy Structural Steel industry detailing standards.
- Create, implement, and coordinate RFIs.

- 4+ years of Steel Detailer experience
- Experience with SDS and/or Tekla (we use Tekla for drafting/detailing)
- Superior understanding of structural steel and miscellaneous iron, including stairs and rails
