- 7+ years of federal construction safety experience.
- Named SSHO on 3+ completed federal projects (NAVFAC, USACE, GSA, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of EM 385-1-1 and federal safety requirements.
- Experience on DoD/military installations preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction - mandatory.
- EM 385 Competent Person training.
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED
. - Develop and manage Accident Prevention Plans (APPs).
- Develop, review, and maintain Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs).
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and track corrective actions.
- Conduct Toolbox Talks and new-worker safety orientations.
- Lead incident/near-miss investigations and maintain OSHA records.
- Manage subcontractor safety compliance.
- Interface with NAVFAC/USACE safety representatives and government inspectors.
- Experience with fall protection, confined space, excavation, steel erection, LOTO, and hot work
. - CHST/CSP, CAC/DBIDS, and Procore experience preferred.
