Senior Project Manager - Heavy Civil

Metric Geo is confidentially partnered with a household heavy civil contractor to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its team in Indiana.

This search is focused on senior-level professionals with a strong background in earthwork, underground utilities, and paving, particularly across INDOT highway and roadway projects.

• Oversee the delivery of multiple heavy civil projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, forecasting, and overall profitability.
• Lead coordination between Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients.
• Drive project performance, productivity, and cost control across all phases of construction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, and key stakeholders.
• Ensure projects meet safety standards, quality requirements, and contractual obligations.

• Extensive Project Management experience within heavy civil construction.
• Strong technical knowledge of earthwork, underground utilities, and paving.
• Proven experience delivering INDOT or DOT highway and roadway projects.
• Track record of managing complex projects, leading teams, and driving financial performance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects.
