POSITION
PURPOSE:
Position supports video production and serves as day-to-day producer for the growing podcast work of the Indiana Historical Society’s (IHS) content studio.
- Coordinate the entire cycle of the podcast recording experience
- Edit audio and video
- Assist with complex studio and field shots
- Prepare media for all IHS platforms
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Demonstrated knowledge of video production, podcast recording, audio production, and editing software
- Ability to collaborate and communicate, especially with those with less media experience
- Ability to record and actively monitor clean audio
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as projects dictate, such as evenings and weekends
- Wrist & Visual Stamina – Ability to type and focus on a computer screen for prolonged periods of time
- Strength – Ability to lift & carry items weighing up to 35 pounds
- Physical Movement – Bending, Kneeling, and Crouching In order to reach & pick up items, standing for long periods of time

QUALIFICATIONS:- Applicable degree or two years of applicable experience
