Production Lead - Creative Arts Team

Eastern Star Church is a Christ-centered ministry where “Jesus is Exalted and the Word is Explained,” serving Central Indiana through three locations and more than 40 ministries. Rooted in evangelism and discipleship, the church is dedicated to sharing the Gospel and nurturing individuals in their spiritual growth. The Production Lead on the Creative Arts Team is a full-time, on-site role based in Indianapolis, IN. This position oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of worship and ministry-related productions, including services, special events, and creative presentations. The Production Lead collaborates with pastors, worship leaders, and creative arts staff to translate ministry goals into effective visual, audio, and stage experiences. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing production schedules, assigning tasks, managing rehearsals, and ensuring technical readiness for services.

The role also focuses on maintaining quality standards across audio/visual elements, supporting volunteers and staff through training and coaching, and troubleshooting production issues in real time. This team member is expected to uphold the church’s mission and values while fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement within the Creative Arts Team.

• Candidates should possess strong Production Planning and Production Management skills to organize services, events, and technical elements effectively.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with pastors, ministry leaders, volunteers, and technical staff.
• Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to ensure excellence, consistency, and reliability in audio, visual, and stage production.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to mentor, develop, and support volunteers and team members in production processes and equipment use.
• Experience in live event or worship production, including audio, video, lighting, or stage management, is highly beneficial.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team coordination, problem-solving under time constraints, and decision-making in high-pressure environments.
• Familiarity with church or faith-based environments and alignment with the mission and values of Eastern Star Church is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in media, production, or related fields is a plus.
