We are seeking a registered dental assistant with at least 1 year of experience who wants to set their own schedule and work only when it fits them. The assistant will support the dentist’s office, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth office procedures.

• Welcome customers to the dental office.
• Prepare patients for treatments or check‑ups, ensuring their comfort.
• Select and set up instruments, equipment, and materials needed.
• Sterilize instruments according to regulations.
• Assist the dentist with 4‑handed dentistry and lab tasks as instructed.
• Provide oral hygiene and post‑operative care instructions.
• Keep the dental room clean and well‑stocked.
• Schedule appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures.

• Proven experience as a registered dental assistant.
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
• Understanding of health & safety regulations, including HIPAA.
• Ability to perform regulated non‑surgical tasks such as coronal polishing (plus).
• Good computer skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school preferred.
• Additional certification or training (e.g., EFDA) is an asset.
• Dental Hygiene license required for alternative credentialed candidates.
