Meta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Designer to play a central role in shaping the future of our products. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and features are valuable, easy to use, and of the highest level of craft and execution. In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams, including product management, engineering, data science, UX research, content design, and other disciplines to build great products that address real user needs.
You will utilize your full range of product design skills to contribute to high‑level strategic decisions and drive transformational experiences for our users. By focusing on people and doing the simple things first, you will help develop quality experiences for some of the world’s biggest problems. To succeed in this role, you should have experience in product design, interaction design, and visual design, as well as an interest for creating innovative solutions that meet the needs of our users.

Skills Product Designer Responsibilities
Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for our 2 billion+ users and drive product strategy and innovation across a large organizationDesign leading‑edge concepts through the craft of end‑to‑end flows which impact broad sets of users at scale while using the appropriate prototyping toolsDrive design prioritization and execution, keeping up teams momentum to meet accelerated timelinesDesign new experiences or layouts that improve visual systemsPlay an active role in communicating strategic decisions around the future direction of productsGive and solicit feedback from a broader product team in order to continually raise our bar for qualityAct as a key cross‑functional lead accountable for the success of the initiative, leaning into workstream level operations and processes when neededInfluence and drive alignment on product direction across multiple large organizations and cross‑functional partnersWork collaboratively with others, think creatively, and take on complex challengesTake on mentorship and coaching opportunitiesMinimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field and minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant field8+ years of experience building and shipping applications or software at company‑level scale level, leading the end‑to‑end experience within a large‑scale, ambiguous domainInteraction design experience with knowledge defining and evangelizing how an experience should behave based on understanding people's needs, plus consideration of how this innovation will scale and examples of the use of appropriate prototyping tools to demonstrate how a particular interaction will workVisual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product functionStrategic product thinking with the experience developing product goals, identifying opportunities in a global market, and making decisions based on the impact to people and the companyExperience representing work to executives, clearly and succinctly stating the goals and conceptsPreferred Qualifications

$201,000/year to $278,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
