Assistant / Associate Professor of Clinical Radiology, Pediatric Radiology

Position Summary
Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) – Radiology & Imaging Sciences seeks a full‑time fellowship‑trained Pediatric Radiologist for a clinical track faculty appointment.

Eligible candidates are diagnostic radiology board‑eligible (or certified) and CAQ‑eligible in Pediatric Radiology. Inter‑subspecialty collaboration (fetal, cardiac, musculoskeletal, neuroradiology) is desirable but not required.

Institutional Context
Riley Hospital for Children is a free‑standing tertiary referral center and Level One trauma center in Indianapolis, serving the state of Indiana and the Midwest. The Pediatric Radiology division interprets ~180,000 exams annually and includes subspecialists in interventional radiology, neuroradiology, fetal, cardiac, musculoskeletal and emergency imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high‑quality pediatric imaging care for patients at Riley Hospital for Children and the IU Health system.
  • Treat patients across the spectrum of pediatric radiology – diagnostic, interventional, and emergent imaging.
  • Engage in teaching, resident education, and program development.
  • Participate in research, quality improvement and community outreach initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
  • Diagnostic radiology board‑eligible (or certified) by the American Board of Radiology.
  • CAQ‑eligible in Pediatric Radiology.
  • Doctorate or terminal degree required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board credential (or eligibility) in a pediatric subspecialty such as fetal, cardiac, musculoskeletal or neuroradiology.
  • Experience in an academic radiology setting with teaching/resident training responsibilities.
  • Commitment to health equity, diversity, and inclusion.
