The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) is seeking to recruit academic anatomic pathologists with subspecialty expertise in Gastrointestinal/Liver Pathology to join its faculty. The Pathology team serves 10 hospitals within the IU Health Hospital network and Eskenazi Health. Anatomic pathology is currently comprised of 55 pathologists. The academic track and rank of the appointment will be determined by qualifications and level of experience.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver professional diagnostic services within anatomic pathology
  • Provide on-call coverage and conference support with department faculty members
  • Actively participate in educational activities with medical students, residents, and fellows

Basic Qualifications

Doctorate or terminal degree is required. The applicant must be certified by the American Board of Pathology in anatomic pathology or anatomic and clinical pathology. Additionally, applicants must be qualified for licensure in the state of Indiana.
