Peyton Manning Children's Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) with experience in Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery and/or management of congenital cardiac patients to join our surgical APP team. Incoming APP will be involved with congenital CV surgical cases as part of a highly-specialized team in the inpatient and outpatient settings. • Consultative support, including reviewing test results and/or providing second opinions
• Shared decision-making through joint case conferences of surgeons, cardiologists and other specialists to determine the optimal site of care
• Integrated care management, including virtual care management and surgical planning

• Participate in the care and medical decision making for preoperative, intra-operative, and postoperative patients at Peyton Manning Children's Hospital cent Indianapolis and the Children's Heart Center.
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds in the cardiac care unit.
• Order, perform, and interpret imaging, data, and labs.
• Perform procedures, such as temporary pacing wire and chest tube removal.
• Navigate and create records in the patient chart using the Sunrise Clinical Manager and Athena Health EMR systems.
