Locum MD; Medical Doctor Radiology

This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care through diagnostic imaging and collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

As a Locum MD in Radiology, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality radiological services, interpreting imaging studies, and ensuring accurate diagnoses. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing patient outcomes and supporting the overall mission of our medical practice.

• Conduct and interpret various imaging studies, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
• Provide accurate and timely reports on imaging findingsli>
• Ensure compliance with medical protocols and safety standards
• Participate in departmental meetings and case discussions
• Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
• Mentor and guide junior staff in radiological practices
• Assist in the development of radiology protocols and guidelines

• MD degree with a specialization in Radiology
• Associate-level experience in a clinical radiology setting
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of Indiana
• Strong knowledge of imaging modalities and radiological procedures
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Evening and weekend call shifts available

Case Volume: 50 RVUs per shift

Cases:
Moderate IR (lung/solid organ biopsy, chest tube, FNA, image-guided core biopsy), and light IR (thoracentisis, paracentisis, LP, myelogram, arthrogram, etc.)

Technology: RPCE Tech Stack and Power Scribe 4.0

Board certification required
