Complex General Surgical Oncology-Indianapolis

Position Overview

The Indiana University School of Medicine's Department of Surgery, Division of Surgical Oncology, in conjunction with IU Health Medical Group is seeking a board‑certified general surgeon with a completed fellowship in Complex General Surgical Oncology and clinical experience in managing cutaneous malignancies, retroperitoneal sarcoma and gastrointestinal cancer including peritoneal surface malignancy.

This faculty position will hold appointments at the Indiana University Health Adult Academic Health Center and the Indiana University Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, and will be responsible for providing patient care, teaching residents and students, and participating in clinical and translational research within the Division of Surgical Oncology. It is a full‑time position. Salary, research funding, and academic rank will be commensurate with past experience.

• MD or terminal degree required;
• Completed a Complex General Surgical Oncology Fellowship with extensive training in the management of cutaneous and gastrointestinal malignancies;
• Board certified in General Surgery;
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Indiana.
