Overview
We are seeking two full-time Anesthesiologists to join our department at Ridge Meadows Hospital.
Ridge Meadows Hospital (RMH) is located in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, British Columbia, and serves a population of above 100,000 people. RMH is a 171‑bedded community hospital offering primary and secondary acute care, with 24/7 emergency services and a range of specialty services including General and Internal Medicine, Rehabilitation, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Urology, Dental Surgery (Paeds and Adults), an 8‑bed ICU, Pharmacy, Imaging and a Medical Lab.
The site also provides adult psychiatric and social services on an in-patient and out-patient basis, including ECT services. It is a fully accredited hospital offering comprehensive care along with 24/7 emergency services and 45,000+ visits annually.
The successful candidates will join the department on a one in five call schedule. Payment will be on a fee-for-service basis. This position is available immediately.
Applicants must be eligible for FRCPC certification (Anesthesiology) and eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia. All qualified candidates, including international medical graduates, are encouraged to apply.
